You know even with a show like this there's only a tiny chance of success.
You have to get through at least three auditions with the producers
(who even then might put you through because youre actually terrible)
Get three 'yes's' from the Judges
Survive bootcamp to the final 8
Get into the final 3
Make it to the live shows and escape the bottom 2 every week
And (unless you're in the last three or four) disappear back into obscurity.
Because a lot of the X Factor contestants we'll never hear of again.
Even reaching the final few doesn't guarantee success.
